Edinburgh Castle dominates the city skyline and can be seen rising above the roof tops as you start a fifteen minute walk into the Old Town or Georgian New Town (post 1760). Below the Castle is Princes Street; Edinburgh’s main shopping thoroughfare on which all the high street stores are located. To the North and running parallel is George Street on which the designer brands have established a particular niche.
